My story chronicles how the boxing gloves worn by Joe Louis
in the 1936 Louis-Schmeling fight made their way from
Yankee Stadium in NYC on June 19, 1936 to Windsor, Ontario,
and then to the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC.
